Groupweave evolved from a decade of experience building and managing teams.

Projects fail for a variety of reasons - poor communication, over optimistic status reports and a willful aversion to proper tracking of tasks all rank high on the list. Microsoft Project and related software provides a great way of getting an estimate of the overall project and mapping out realistic scenarios but provide a poor mechanism for actually tracking a project. They are too granular and difficult to update, they are not shared easily and tasks are never done in the order arranged - leading to a "close enough" trial and error tracking.

Groupweave provides a project oriented - rather than task oriented - online service. This is not simple file repository, groupweave is a group wide comunication and tracking vehicle. It also allows ad hoc communication of events in the day - ranging from the simple updates to announcements.

Groupweave also provides the perfect platform for keeping teams up to date on what each member is doing, coordinating distributed teams and working with outside clients and partners.
